Trained as an architect at University of Liverpool School of Architecture he worked for commercial architects before setting up his own practice in Mayfair. His practice carried out commercial and residential schemes up to a value of £5 million. He then moved into development and business operations bringing indoor cricket into the UK, developing two stadiums in Dartford and Swansea and was involved in creating indoor baseball on the same model in Phoenix Arizona which took him to Denver and Winter Park, Colorado where he bought and sold residential apartment blocks and hotels as well as limited residential development in Denver. On returning to UK he built a 212 Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza at Blackfriars in the City of London as well as residential development and apartment management throughout London.


Originally a Naval Officer who then moved into Business and Information Technology, working as a consultant for many of the global IT companies working across many different diverse sectors. His MBA, leadership, and extensive IT, Program and Project management qualifications put him in a unique position to lead and manage at a strategic and operational level driving continual service improvement and quality service delivery.

He was part of the team who developed the IT Strategy for the building and delivery of the London 2012 Olympics and developed there service management.

He has lectured in professional excellence, innovation & creative problem solving; and has a passion for continual service improvement.

He is on the board of two children's charities and believes its important to give back for a better society and world.
